Showman Spotlight: Maeve Korthuis

Meet Maeve Korthuis, a 2024 exhibitor of the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane!

Maeve has been showing for 7 years and is a sophomore at Lind-Ritzville. Her favorite thing about the show is the opportunity to compete at a higher level, the relationships gained through the show, and the satisfaction and payoff of raising cattle from start to finish.

When asked what she is taking this year, she said, "My market steer, Biscotti and my prospect steer, Winston."

Maeve is grateful for her role models and two specific ones come to mind.

"My FFA advisors Mr. Williams and Ms. Sanderson because they both encourage me to pursue excellence," she said.
